Sweet Baby Elephant

I created this new Party set for a custom order. I just loved how the door sign and the cupcake toppers turned out so, I had to included them in my shops. I am thinking that perhaps I should make a pink set as well. We will have to see if I am motivated enough to make something that might not sell right away. Elephants represent luck and well, maybe this is the kind of luck I need: more sales!

Clearing out and MOVING

I am moving all of my stamps out of my main Etsy shop. Once they are expired or sold I will not be relisting them. I have created a new Etsy shop called TheLADYandtheSTAMPS. Yes, another shop! Like I don't have enough shops out there....never enough just not enough time to post and check in LOL. Winning

I reached 300 sales in my Etsy Shop this last month. Yes, I know I should have posted something about it sooner (my bad). Here are my lucky winners. Like, Sheen would say: "Winning"

Class of 2011

Class of 2011 omg I'm old :) I made a YouTube video on how to make this graduation card. The card was customized for one of my customers but, I decided to make a video and sell the other one in my shop.

Someone told me that they still couldn't hear me on the video that well. Perhaps it is my audio. I replay the darn thing and I sound so boring. I guess I have to bubble it up (it's called acting). Come check it out or even better go to my shop and buy it.

Say One Thing, Do Another

I know the last post I wrote stated that I was going to make new stuff for my Party Collection...I lied LOL.
Remodeled my studio (new post of that soon) and I have been doing some orders. But all and all nothing out of the ordinary so, basically I'm telling you I have been lazy and not keeping up with my blog or my shop (new things that is). Here is a photo of 60+ paper roses I made for a customer. I also made 5" roses and forgot to take a pic of them (I could shoot myself for that one).

PaRtY!!!!!

I am going to start working on my Party decoration line. I haven't made any new themes in awhile so, I think it's time. Right now I have Elmo, Baby Shower, Curious George, and Olivia the Pig. I think I might do some new children theme party decorations and perhaps Wedding invites. We will have to see how my creative juices flow. I sometimes have BIG ideas and they tend to sit in my big head LOL. I am posting this to prevent this from happening. If I say it then I have to deliver, right?

 

 

200th SALE @ Etsy and my first 2 Sales on Artfire

How happy am I? Well, very happy. Things seem to be picking up (Scraps looks for wood to knock on LOL). Thanks to all of my customers I feel that I am moving in the right direction. I am still not as busy as I would like to be but, I am sure as heck not going to complain. I have been getting a lot of custom orders and repeated customers.

In my dreams I hold a golden pair of scissors and the bright hot lights shine in my eyes as I am dressed to the nines (what ever that means). My hair so perfect, my make up done by someone, and a room full of people. I stand in front of them with sweaty palms and Thank the crafting community for all of their support and say "If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be where I am today" along with "I have always loved crafting and creating and sharing my love of art. I thank God and my Family". Then two lovely people walk me off stage...Yes I told you all I have a big imagination and that I am a DREAMER :)

Dreams can come true....(ok I don't believe there is an award ceremony for best crafter or scrapbooker)

Love is in the Air

It's not even February and I feel the love in the air. Every where I am seeing people celebrate Valentine's Day early. Perhaps I am noticing this because I have to think ahead when I make things for my shop. I don't know, and I don't care, because this feeling of love is contagious and feels oh so good. Let me share some of my new creations with you to get you into the mood.

Eco Friendly

I have created two different sets of mini cards for a custom order and now I am offering them in my shop to all my customers. What a wonderful way to send a meaningful message to others. The most important thing we can do to help perserve our planet is be aware and help reduce our carbon footprint.

I'm all Steampunked

I have always love the punk in people. The alternative to what is the norm. Now that the World has changed and we are more conscious of the Eco system and our planet many rethink what may become of this wonderful green waterious planet if we abuse it. Those images are awe inspiring to see (in movies). Fantasy Si-Fi movies have created STEAMPUNK and the way things might be. The old with the new. This is good...but I'm just thankful that it's not reality. I have created a collection of steampunk cards because I want to express my punkness without wearing skin tight leather and dying my hair pink. So here is my interpretation of adding a bit of Steam to my Punk.
