200th SALE @ Etsy and my first 2 Sales on Artfire

How happy am I? Well, very happy. Things seem to be picking up (Scraps looks for wood to knock on LOL). Thanks to all of my customers I feel that I am moving in the right direction. I am still not as busy as I would like to be but, I am sure as heck not going to complain. I have been getting a lot of custom orders and repeated customers.

In my dreams I hold a golden pair of scissors and the bright hot lights shine in my eyes as I am dressed to the nines (what ever that means). My hair so perfect, my make up done by someone, and a room full of people. I stand in front of them with sweaty palms and Thank the crafting community for all of their support and say "If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be where I am today" along with "I have always loved crafting and creating and sharing my love of art. I thank God and my Family". Then two lovely people walk me off stage...Yes I told you all I have a big imagination and that I am a DREAMER :)

Love is in the Air

It's not even February and I feel the love in the air. Every where I am seeing people celebrate Valentine's Day early. Perhaps I am noticing this because I have to think ahead when I make things for my shop. I don't know, and I don't care, because this feeling of love is contagious and feels oh so good. Let me share some of my new creations with you to get you into the mood.

Eco Friendly

I have created two different sets of mini cards for a custom order and now I am offering them in my shop to all my customers. What a wonderful way to send a meaningful message to others. The most important thing we can do to help perserve our planet is be aware and help reduce our carbon footprint.

I'm all Steampunked

I have always love the punk in people. The alternative to what is the norm. Now that the World has changed and we are more conscious of the Eco system and our planet many rethink what may become of this wonderful green waterious planet if we abuse it. Those images are awe inspiring to see (in movies). Fantasy Si-Fi movies have created STEAMPUNK and the way things might be. The old with the new. This is good...but I'm just thankful that it's not reality. I have created a collection of steampunk cards because I want to express my punkness without wearing skin tight leather and dying my hair pink. So here is my interpretation of adding a bit of Steam to my Punk.

I have been busy trying to get my name out there. I have a new shop at Crobbies.com http://www.crobbies.com/shop/abunchofscrap and a new shop at Zibbet.com http://www.zibbet.com/AbunchofScrap . I still have my Artfire account too but, it hasn't picked up yet. http://www.artfire.com/users/AbunchofScrap and of course my most successful shop is at Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/abunchofscrap With all of these shops I will soon be filtering out my inventory and selectively offering my customers different things in each one. It will be a slow process but, I feel that customizing each shop will help me and my customers find my products faster and easier. I hope that each one will grow and become prosperous, showing real potential in becoming a top notch store front. Come shop and see the new things that I have created just for you.

I needed to expand my shop. I thought that one shop would be good enough for my business but, I have to stop thinking small. Think big and perhaps you will make it BIG. I am hoping this will help increase my business and open up new doors to success.

My goal is to stop dreaming and make it a reality; a home base business I can call a real income.
